Strong extraction, no insects

Strong extraction, insects cannot get in through the duct. Because there are no upper kitchen cabinets, the range hood will be the kitchen's focal point - the architect advises on the cooktop position and how to make the hood both effective and attractive.

Suggestion

90 cm wide hood; duct larger than recommended; stainless steel cap at the duct end; choose the hood before running electricity and water. Note on GrandX: installation leaves an extra part at the top that is not in the machine's drawing. Cooktop + hood placed against the wall, not on the island. 2 options: (1) buy a really beautiful hood; (2) buy a good hood, cover the duct with plasterboard or a similar material, then decorate.
